HY49010 ETFE Resin is a premium fluoroplastic resin available in translucent (2.5 mm / 0. 1 inch) per. Compared with other levels of ETFE Resin, its most unique feature is the balance of intermediate flow and attributes, which makes it suitable for various processes and highly demanding end-uses. HY49010 ETFE Resin makes it uniquely suitable for high speed machining, especially for extrusion coatings and long, thin or complex injection molding. The properly treated product is made of a neat HY49010 ETFE Resin, inert to most solvents and chemicals, hydrolytic, stable and weathering. The recommended maximum operating temperature is 150 °C ~ (2 +) 302 °F ~ (-1), and useful properties are retained in low temperature range. The level and stability of dielectric properties are very good. The flame grade obtained by UL94 method is V-0. Mechanical properties include outstanding impact strength, penetration and wear resistance.

HY49010 ETFE Resin can be processed by conventional melt extrusion and injection, compression, transfer and blow molding processes. Compared with other grades, it has large traffic and can be handled more easily and faster. At the same time, the melt viscosity decreases with the increase of shear rate. Reciprocating screw injection molding machine is preferred. Corrosion resistant metal is recommended for contact with molten resin. The extruder barrel should be long, relative diameter to provide residence time to heat resin about 340 °Con 640 °FN.
