ETFE(F-40) is made from 1:1 tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene copolymerization. Its molecular structure is as follows: [-cf _ 2-CF _ 2-C _ 2C _ 2N _ XN Ch _ 2-Ch _ 2N _ y] -n. Its chemical structure is similar to polyvinylidene fluoride, but different. The molecular formula of polyvinylidene fluoride is [-ch2-CH2] -n. it is soluble in dimethyl amides and dimethyl sulfoxide. Even cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride is dissolved in these two solvents, but ETFE(F-40) is neither dissolved in these two solvents. ETFE(F-40) is formed by liquid polymerization or radiation polymerization.
