FEP Resin extrusion process can produce continuous length products, such as FEP tube, FEP rod,FEP thin film, FEP mono filament, insulation layer of wire and cable and so on. It has high production efficiency and is suitable for large production.FEP Resin is extruded, and the granular resin is sent to the extruder barrel by the feeding bucket. Because the barrel is heated and the plastic is heated by the friction heat between the cylinder and the rotating screw, the melt material is pressed under the propelling of the screw. The flow plate in the front of the screw is changed into a straight flow through the rotating flow, and finally through a certain shape. The mold is made by cooling and setting.The FEP Granule extrusion method can produce 0.01 to 0.2mm thick films for wire and cable insulation, thin-walled tubes, plates, container products and fiber. In order to obtain a homogeneous melt and the large surface heat transfer of the extruder structure, the length to diameter ratio of the barrel should be (25~30): 1, and the barrel should have three, four independent heating segments, each heating section. There should be a thermocouple and a temperature regulator. The temperature in the barrel is in section, according to the passage, the material can be raised from 270~320 to 370~400, preferably with a fast compression (compression ratio of 3: 1). The determination of temperature and tensile (orientation) depends on the types of products. The rotating speed of the screw is ~ 10r/min in the preparation of thin wall products. With the addition of less than 1% of the hydrocarbon polymer in the extrusion material, the extrusion rate can be increased to 3.18m/s before the melting and thawing, which is more than one times higher than that of the original extrusion speed.
