Ethylene film
- May 17, 2018 -

The ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer membrane was used as a crystalline polymer with melting point of 256~280 C. When the alkene is burned, it can be extinguished. Its shear mechanical strength is high, low temperature resistance is the best in the existing fluoroplastics, from room temperature to -80 C can have high impact strength, chemical property is stable, electrical insulation and radiation resistance performance is good. The actual use of the ETFE film began in the 90s of the last century, mainly as a cover material for agricultural greenhouses and awning materials for various types of special-shaped buildings, such as a playground stand, a conical roof, a casino, a revolving canteen canopy, an entertainment halls cover, a parking lot, a exhibition hall, and a museum. The garden of Eden, one of Britain's New Millennium Project, has the reputation of "the eighth wonder of the world". It is the largest global greenhouse consisting of 4 dome shaped structures, covered with a transparent cover made of ETFE film material, with a quality of only 1% of the same area of glass, transparent sheet can be recycled, and has good insulation.

ETFE film is a superior quality substitute in transparent architecture. For many years in many projects, it has been proved to be a reliable and economical roof material. The membrane is made of high strength fluoropolymer (ETFE). Its unique anti adhesion surface makes it highly resistant to fouling and easy to clean. Usually the main dirt can be removed from the rain.
