F46,PFA,PVDF : These are common fluorine plastics.
Definition of fluoroplastics: fluoroplastics are chain alkane polymers in which hydrogen is partially or wholly replaced by fluorine. At present, there are the following types of fluorinated plastics:
Perfluoroethylene (ethylene propylene) copolymer
Polyperfluoroxy (PFA) resin
Polytrifluoroethylene chloride (PCTFF)
Ethylene trichloroethylene copolymer (ECTFE)
Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) copolymer
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) Polyvinyl chloride (PVF)
F46 that is FEP, is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene. The content of hexafluoropropylene is about 15%, which is the modified material of PTFE. Color is transparent, corrosion resistance and PTFE equivalent, generally used for fluorine pump or per-fluorine pump; Fluoroplastics F46 has the advantages of better processing performance than PTFE, and can be used in general thermoplastic processing methods. Because the surface tension is small, the bonding with metal is good in melting state. F46 resin has not only similar properties to polytetrafluoroethylene propylene, but also good processability of thermoplastic. As a result, it makes up for the difficult processing of PTFE and makes it a substitute for PTFE
FEP Resin is widely used in the production of electric wires and cables for transmission wires, which are used in electronic equipment at high temperature and high frequency. Internal connections for computers, aerospace wires and special purpose mounting wires, oil pump cables and submersible motor winding wires. According to processing needs, F46,that is FEP, can be divided into FEP granular, FEP dispersion and FEP lacquer. According to its melting index, FEP pellets can be used for moulding, extrusion and injection molding; FEP dispersion for impregnation and sintering; FEP lacquer for spraying, etc.
PFA, tetrafluoroethylene-perfluorovinyl ether copolymer (also: perfluoroalkyl, soluble polytetrafluoroalkoxylate, that is polyfluoroalkoxy.
PFA Application: Suitable for making corrosion resistant parts, wear-resistant parts, sealing parts, insulation parts and medical device parts. High temperature wire, cable insulation, anticorrosion equipment, sealing material, pump valve bushing, and chemical container.
PVDF, which is mainly used in petrochemical, electronic, electrical and fluorocarbon coatings, because of its good chemical resistance, processability, fatigue resistance and creep resistance, is the whole or lining pump and valve of petrochemical equipment. PVDF Material is the one of the best materials for piping, pipe fittings, storage tanks and heat exchangers. PVDF material have good chemical stability and electrical insulation so that the equipment can meet the requirements of TOCS and flame retardancy. It is widely used in the storage and transportation of high purity chemicals in semiconductor industry. In recent years, porous membranes, gels and separators made of PVDF resin have been used in lithium secondary batteries. At present, this use has become one of the fastest growing markets for PVDF. PVDF material is one of the most important raw materials for fluorocarbon coatings. The fluorocarbon coatings prepared from the fluorocarbon coatings have been developed to the sixth generation. Because of the excellent weathering resistance of PVDF resins, they can be used outdoors for a long time. This coating is widely used in power plants, airports, highways, high-rise buildings, etc.
In addition, PVDF resin can also be mixed with other resins, such as PVDF and ABS resin blend to obtain composite materials, has been widely used in construction, automotive decoration, home appliances shell and so on.
