The applicaiton of e-PTFE membrnne is on the Filtration and Dust Elimination

Bag dust collector, as the main equipment for dust pollution control, is a kind of traditional and efficient filter dust collector, and the application of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane to bag filter is a new type of filter developed in recent years. The bag dust collector made from expanded PTFE membrane is made of two kinds of materials with different properties processed by special technology. The surface layer of expanded PTFE is thin, dense, smooth and porous, which mainly plays a filtration role. The traditional concept of filtration is changed, which is called membrane surface filtration, and the bottom filter material is traditional filter material or the substrate made of pure PTFE fiber. The substrate mainly plays the role of supporting the surface film and enhancing the mechanical strength. Compared with the traditional filter media, the new filter media has the advantages of more uniform pore diameter, better stability, lower running resistance and higher filtration efficiency. Even for submicron dust, the filtration efficiency is still over 99.9%. In addition, the expanded PTFE filter material can work under high humidity conditions for a long time, ash removal is also very easy. In addition, PTFE itself has excellent characteristics of resistance to acid, alkali corrosion, high temperature, high humidity, oil resistance, pressure resistance, hydrolysis resistance and oxidation resistance. It has a wide application prospect in the field of flue gas dust removal, especially in the field of filtration of PM2.5, such as furnace kiln and power plant coal-fired boiler, waste incinerator, dust removal, air filtration and so on in the building materials and cement industry.
